Eric Hallman The Next Frontier in Numerical Cosmological Simulations: Including Nonthermal Effects I will discuss new breakthroughs in AMR/N-body cosmological simulations which allow us to take the next step in tracking the growth and evolution of magnetic fields and the accelerated particle population in large-scale structure. This step is necessary in order to allow predictions for upcoming multi-wavelength observations of nonthermal emission in galaxy clusters from the long wavelength radio (e.g. LWA, LOFAR) all the way up to gamma rays (e.g. GLAST). In addition, recent studies indicate the possibility that cosmic rays may contribute a non-negligible pressure component to the intracluster medium.
